The Safeguards Team is a new, community-based Child, Adolescent, and Youth Acute Mental Health Service, offering rapid, flexible, and mobile care to young people aged 0-17 in acute mental health distress. Working within an integrated model alongside the adult Acute Care Team (ACT), Safeguards emphasis a holistic approach to mental health, involving families and carers throughout the care process.
