  Are there any specific requirements for a welder job? Is there specific training required? Wages? Thanks.

    Hi Ryan, there are requirements and specific training courses. These can be taken at vocational or training schools, or you can also get welding fabricator certifications –i’m not sure how that works- I would imagine you need to have some knowledge of certain areas like electricity and basic computer programming skills, among others.

      Yep, you also need manual dexterity, IT skills… and you need to be physically fit. As to wages, the governmental web https://www.fairwork.gov.au/pay/minimum-wages/pay-guides may be of some help there.
